Aldi Prawns are the best

Ok so you saw me talk about how much i love prawns/shrimps.

The ones used in my last post were these.
Now don't get me wrong they were ok but it was hard work peeling and de-veining them when i Just wanted to eat.

Hubby decided we needed to find something better that was still raw but less hassle,Thats where Aldi comes in.

They have the best King Prawns i have seen in a long time. All peeled but still raw.

Hubs decided he was going to cook them this time and i sat back and waited.

Prawns, veg, spaghetti and rice all together,so i managed to eat half as it was too spicy for me hubs loves his food so hot like I'm serious i thought the roof of my mouth was peeling off lol,And he's eating it like its nothing.Next time i will eat the kiddies which he did with a lot less scotch bonnet pepper.

Mind you i must Just say the prawns were amazing nice tasting and big,So if you are looking for some really tasty prawns head over to Aldi i will not be getting prawns from anywhere else.

Who else does not like really spicy food?

  1. My Hubs loves shrimp too. Me... I can take it or leave it. I haven't yet tried them from Aldis. Going to have to look for them the next time I am there.

  2. My husband HATES spicy food, but I think it's more because it gives him heartburn than the fact that he dislikes the taste.

  5. Deveining and peeling shrimp is one of the hardest things to do! We have an Aldi and shop there often; I'll look for these Prawns! And I have to say, the plural of shrimp is "shrimp" unless you are talking about multiple species!

  6. I'm not a shrimp eater but I think my partner would love this. Looks pretty easy to make also since it's already pre-made. :)

  8. I have wanted to cook raw shrimp but I have not since I don't want to devein or peel. Looks like a great idea to have them all ready to go.

  11. I am definitely not a fan of putting in a ton of work to eat the shrimp. Pure laziness over here.

  15. I love shrimp, but only eat wild-the farmed raised stuff tastes terrible to me and I can tell the difference. They take work, though! I buy them heads and all :)

  21. OMG that looks so yummy! I love me some good shrimp, I cannot imagine buying them in a way that requires peeling and deveining, I am far too lazy for that process. I love spicy food .. well food with a bit of a cook, not super spicy!
