The Ayurituel range has been further expanded with the launch of two new indulgent liquid handwashes – Joyous and Energy.  The new handwashes promise a relaxing and sensory hand washing experience that cleanses the hands whilst leaving the skin smooth and soft. Spruce up your bathroom with these attractive and elegant hand washes.

 The Ayurvedic Philosophy:

The Indian practice of Ayurveda has been passed through the generations for more than 5,000 years and is followed by celebrities such as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Oprah Winfrey to name but a few. It takes a holistic approach by directing us to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle through the combination of mind, body, senses and the soul.
Ayurveda encourages us to take responsibility for our own health according to the different stages of our lives, the seasons, and the environment we live, work and play in.

According to Ayurveda, the five elements of nature - space, air, fire, water and earth - combine in the body as three components, or doshas, known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These three mind-body types express particular patterns of energy and unique blends of physical, emotional, and mental characteristics. Each of us will have a dominant dosha or mind-body type which has a specific set of lifestyle and nutritional guidelines to help us achieve and maintain a good state of health.

 Your Shower is Your Sanctuary:

Inspired by the wisdom of this philosophy, Palmolive is bringing the spirit of Ayurveda to your shower time, with three invigorating experiences, including the NEW Peaceful variant:

Peaceful – with Indian Neem and Jasmine to calm your senses
Energy - stimulating Indian Sandalwood and Ginger extracts for an uplifting experience
Joyous - blissful Lotus Flower and Indian Mulberry extracts for an aromatic & joyful shower

Enriched with exotic extracts of Indian origin, the Palmolive Ayurituel range will leave your skin feeling rebalanced and energised while your senses will feel comforted.

Immerse yourself in delights inspired by Ayurveda rituals and let Palmolive transform your shower into your sanctuary, bringing the harmony of body, mind and nature to you.

NEW sensory hand-washing experience:

The new line-up of handwashes is ideal for cleansing, refreshing and pampering your hands.  The range includes two of the same enchanting fragrances featured in the shower gel range– Energy, with stimulating Indian Sandalwood and Ginger extracts, and Joyous, with Lotus Flower and Indian Mulberry extracts. Treat yourself every day, whilst leaving your hands delicately fragranced.

About Palmolive:

B. J. Johnson opened a small laundry and tar soap factory in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1864. His son Caleb entered the business and in 1898 created a floating green soap, based on palm and olive oils. He called it Palmolive. Dissatisfied, he shopped around for a soap milk which would produce something heavier and more refined. This he found at the World's Fair in St. Louis in 1904, and the new Palmolive became more like the toilet soaps that were being imported from France. The B. J. Johnson Soap Company renamed itself the Palmolive Company in 1916. Colgate and Palmolive merged in 1928.
